Our first Networking Event: Mobile Bowling 2008
The Mobile Bowling 2008 took place at All Star Lane - Bayswater on the 16th of June. We had 6 lanes booked and 42 people attending. Everyone showed up on time, surprisingly, with just 2 people from Mobile Entertainment Magazine getting lost and wonder in to a different bowling venue. We had teams from WIN, 2 from Pocket Group, Tanla, Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), Saffron Digital, Akindred Consulting, Mobile Entertainment and ARN.

The nominees were:
- The Winning Team: Pocket Group
- Highest Score Winners (144): John Loughrey from WIN and Chris Chaney form GOSH
- Lowest Score Winner (31): Caroline Callaghan form GOSH
- Best Bowling Style: Chris Swan from Saffron Digital
- Best Dressed Bowler: Mya from Pocket Group
- Worse Bowling Style (no hard feelings): Steve from Tanla
- Special Prize Winner – Echo Hairdressing Appointment: Daniel Solden from ARN Consulting
The event has been organised in support for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity to raise money for their new equipment, the PCA/NCA Pumps, that will help kids with rare and life threatening diseases. With help of all participating companies we have raised £1,500!
The event has been very successful and we are planning to organise more networking days out; like go karting, urban golf and paintball charity events, so for those of you who did not attend Mobile Bowling 2008 there will be other events not to be missed!
